Rafting in Slovenia
Located in the Julian Alps the “Triglav National Park” is one of the most beautiful national parks in Europe.. Between the mountains Boveč is situated which is the tourism centre of this area. Participants were accommodated in this beautiful town in a pleasant 3-star hotel, called Hotel Alp***.
After the long and tiring journey everybody was happy to take part in a rafting program.
We did it on the River Soča in rafts for 6-8 persons, which were navigated by professional instructors. The rafts of course were handled by the participants themselves.
On the following day two challenges were planned: hydrospeed and canyoning.
We divided the group of 30 into two smaller teams. Both team took part in both activities.
The 15-20 km canyon circle around Boveč means one of the richest areas of its kind in Europe. While canyoning the group slipped down the waterfalls, jumped in deep waters, walked on high cliffs and in the most difficult canyons they sloped down with ropes.
Hydrospeed means nothing else but experience of water’s power from as close as possible.
